yeah so if you type 42 with the alt+num pad for ascii characters you get the wildcard character * that crazy

Starting a BLOG

Well I finally thought of something worthwhile and I needed somewhere to put it...I finally found something a blog can be useful for thats not for like n00bs and stuff.

My Idea
All modern operating systems have 3 buttons in the title bar of each window (Mac might only have 2 not sure). One to minimize, one to maximize, and a third to close...

Add a 4th one

this new button would have a menupop up that would allow you to select one of several different configurations..each having 3 options of if you want it to take up 1/2, 1/3, or 1/4 of the screen for 1/2 or 1/3 you would select vertically or horizantally then for all of them you would select the section you want that praticualar window to go in

This would make tileing windows much easier and multitaskign better for the times whe you only have 1 monitor to work with.

at the time this is a rough idea and the options may have to change (mabey depending on aspect or resoultion) but i will have to remember this idea and mabey work on a linux GUI to support it

but now i will remember it at least

PS now that this is a real blog i will delete all my school stuff but I don't have time now...I have homework and i'm not sure if there is school tomorrow...I will elaborate on this later
